Andrew Michael – Founder and CEO
Andrew Michael is one of the UK’s most respected internet entrepreneurs. He previously founded the hosting company Fasthosts, and built it into the largest web host in the UK. Fasthosts was sold in 2006 to United Internet for over $120M, and Andrew founded Livedrive in the same year. His first task was to build Livedrive’s expert development and operations teams, and he worked with them over the next two years to develop Livedrive’s world-leading infrastructure and software, before launching the product in late 2008. Andrew’s vision, experience and entrepreneurial spirit has helped Livedrive to grow rapidly and gain significant market share since launch.
Nicholas Cowell – Non-Executive Director
Nicholas Cowell is a leading British property tycoon and investor. Nicholas has been involved with Livedrive from its inception, and his significant business connections around the UK and worldwide have helped facilitate Livedrive’s rapid growth into the retail markets. As a member of the renowned Cowell family and a highly successful entrepreneur in his own right, Nicholas’ respected business acumen has helped to shape Livedrive’s business model and products into one that appeals to a mass audience.
Michael Hogan – Finance Director
Michael is a chartered accountant, having trained and qualified with KPMG. Michael brings a wealth of relevant commercial and financial experience to Livedrive, having spent over 10 years in the internet industry. Prior to Livedrive, Michael was most recently CFO of Fasthosts Internet, taking the business through its sale to United Internet in 2006, and its subsequent acquisition of a competing hosting business. Previously Michael held Finance Director positions with Tiscali and Via Networks.
